Belong. Believe. Achieve.
A Tuition-Free Public School Alternative for Students in Grades 6–12 with In-Person and Online Schools Across Indiana
Granting Every Learner the Option to Succeed
Is your student feeling uninspired or disconnected in the classroom, or lost in a large campus with hundreds of students? Are they in need of a clean slate to work towards their goals? Large, traditional schools are often unable to provide a relationship-based approach & prevent students from falling through the cracks — that isn’t something that happens at Options Schools.
Here, we believe all learners deserve to benefit from the individualized educational experience needed to achieve their full potential. Students can choose from brick and mortar campuses in central, north-central, and northwest Indiana, or a flexible, established online program, along with additional campus programs serving students in all 92 counties in the state of Indiana.
Options is accredited by the Indiana Department of Education (IDOE) and AdvancED, with select programs also accredited by the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA)
With a high-quality, individualized approach,
OPTIONS specializes in providing students with unparalleled

Some Questions You May Have
How To Enroll
We enroll students year-round, as long as there is availability in the grade the student is applying for. Don’t hesitate to reach out, because the enrollment process can be completed in as soon as 5-7 school days!
Do students earn the same diploma as they would at a traditional high school?
Graduates receive a high school diploma that is accredited by the Indiana Department of Education. Students can earn either a General, Core 40, Core 40 with Academic Honors (AHD) or Core 40 with Technical Honors (THD).
What types of learners attend Options?
There is no “typical” Options student, but students we serve include those who were formerly homeschooled, those with anxiety issues, schedule constraints, and young learners searching for a more individualized learning environment.
Can Options students receive college credit?
Eligible students have the opportunity to enroll in dual-credit courses while still working towards their high school diploma. Students can earn credit at Ivy Tech, J. Everett Light Career Center, ABC Construction and Gaylor Electric.
