Amy Westrich, the Social Emotional Counselor at Options Westfield, played a pivotal role in introducing the Teach One to Lead One program at Options Schools. Inspired by her previous work at the Hamilton County Department of Corrections, Amy secured a grant to bring the program to Options. Since its inception in the fall of 2024, Teach One to Lead One has been actively conducted at both the Noblesville and Westfield campuses, with middle and high school students. Options Schools aspires to secure additional grant funding to further support the program’s continuation and impact.

Sara Colter’s journey with Teach One to Lead One is a testament to the program’s transformative potential. Starting as a volunteer in 2019, Sara’s dedication led her to become the Central Indiana Area Manager. She pitches the program to schools, facilitating student involvement.
