Aisha

When did you enroll at Options?
At the beginning of this school year

Do you have any hobbies, passions, or ways you enjoy spending your free time?
I recently started going to the gym and I’ve enjoyed that.

What have you enjoyed most about the Options experience?
The teachers are pretty nice and I’ve met some cool people. The teachers also really do care and put in a lot of effort to see students succeed.

What is your favorite subject in school?
English because it comes easy to me.

Have you improved in any areas since starting at Options?
Maybe my grammar.

Do you have a favorite teacher or staff member?
Padam, Maria and Beck

Do you have any current plans or aspirations for after you graduate?
I definitely want to go to college and enter the medical field, I am just not sure what area yet.

Cooking and watching cooking videos

What is your favorite thing about attending Options with ABA?
When we cook recipes

What is your favorite subject in school?
Math

Have you improved in any areas since you first started attending Options?
I have excelled at task boxes and independent work.

Do you have any current plans or aspirations for when you’re older, or after you graduate?
I will use my skills I have learned at Options in the community and at home. I want to continue to expand my cooking skills.


Lillian
Options Indiana South

Grade: 11th
Hometown: Richmond, IN

When did you begin attending Options?
At the start of this school year

Do you have any hobbies or ways you enjoy spending your free time?
I really enjoy being with animals and baking seasonal treats.

What have you enjoyed most about the Options experience?
Options Indiana provides a good education and gives you the option of when you would like to complete your work making an easy and flexible schedule. The teachers and staff are encouraging, kind, and always lending a helping hand.

What is your favorite subject in school?
My favorite subject in school is relations and emotions, and learning a little more about peoples feelings and how people think about things.

Do you have a favorite teacher or staff member?
My favorite staff member/ teacher is Amber. She has been such an amazing advisor and so helpful with anything and everything I may have a question about. Overall, she is a very kind, caring, and understanding person who has been there for me since I started Options Indiana!

Have you improved in any areas since starting at Options?
I have improved mentally and academically, I can make my own schedule, learn at my pace and still have free time!

Do you have any current plans or aspirations for after you graduate?
After I graduate I plan on moving to Shelbyville, Indiana, and being a full-time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). Currently, I am working full time taking CNA classes to make this happen!


Stephen
Options Westfield Middle School

Grade: 6th

When did you begin attending Options?
A couple of months ago when the school year started

Away from school, do you have any hobbies or ways you enjoy spending your free time?
In my free time I like to draw and play video games. I spend time with my younger brother also.

What have you enjoyed most about the Options experience?
The smaller class sizes because the teachers are able to focus more on all of the students and we can easily get their attention if we need help with something.

What is your favorite subject in school?
Science

Do you have a favorite teacher or staff member?
Probably Jason and Steve

Have you improved in any areas since enrolling at Options?
I used to be pretty bored and hyperactive at my old school, but I have been much more settled here.

Do you have any current plans or aspirations for after you graduate?
Maybe become a video game developer, or scientist, or engineer, but that could change.


Jaylen
Options Westfield High School

Grade: 11th

When did you begin attending Options?
Last school year in October 2023

Away from school, do you have any hobbies or ways you enjoy spending your free time?
I like to watch movies and spend time with my dog and cat.

What have you enjoyed most about the Options experience?
I like how everything is a lot more calm, and there aren’t a ton of other students.

Do you have a favorite Options teacher or staff member?
Probably Hannah and Blake

What is your favorite subject in school?
English

What are your plans or aspirations for after you graduate?
Something that has to do with animals. Possibly as a dog trainer.


Tanner
Options Indiana Middle School

Do you have any hobbies or ways you enjoy spending your free time?
Calling my friends and playing video games.

What is your favorite thing about attending Options Indiana?
I like staying at home and working at my own pace.

What is your favorite subject in school?
English because I like writing.

Do you have a favorite Options teacher or staff member?
Kiersten, who teaches English and Social Studies because she is nice and sweet.

Have you improved in any areas since enrolling at Options?
I have improved in English and now like writing.

Do you have any current plans or aspirations for after you graduate?
I want to be a famous YouTuber.


Hinda

Before this school year started

Do you have any hobbies, passions, or ways you enjoy spending your free time?
I like going to the gym and sometimes the mall.

What have you enjoyed most about the Options experience?
The teachers seem to care a lot and they will go out of their way to help anyone who needs it, and I feel like that extra help and support is really nice.

What is your favorite subject in school?
English

Have you improved in any areas since starting at Options?
I would say academically because my grades have improved.

Do you have any current plans or aspirations for after you graduate?
I want to go to college and then either become an orthodontist or pharmacist.
