Robbie G.
Options Noblesville

Grade: 10th

When did you begin attending Options Noblesville?
I started at the beginning of this school year

How have your first couple months at Options been?
It’s been going great, and I’ve been working hard on my grades.

Away from school, do you have any hobbies, passions, or ways you enjoy spending your free time?
I like to play different simulator games on the computer: either bus, plane, or train. I’m also a big public transit enthusiast, and I think the expansion & growth of public transportation is important.

What is your favorite subject in school?
History has always been something that interests me

Do you feel that you’ve improved in any areas since coming to Options?
Definitely. I’ve been a lot better in science.

Do you have any current plans or aspirations for when you’re older, or after you graduate?
I want to pursue something in the transportation industry for sure. I think it is important to be on the administrative side of things, so I can help make a positive impact.


Adam G.
Options Westfield High School

Grade: 12th

When did you begin attending Options?
I started at the beginning of this school year

How has your first semester at Options been?
I came in from a different school, but I was able to get comfortable in a short amount of time. The teachers and students were all super welcoming & it’s been awesome.

Away from school, do you have any hobbies, passions, or ways you enjoy spending time?
I would say a combination of working, fishing & spending time with family. I started working at Dairy Queen recently and really like it, and I’ve been fishing for my whole life. 

What is your favorite subject in school?
Anything history-related. I think it’s important to see what has happened to bring us to where we are today.

Do you have any current plans or aspirations for when you’re older, or after you graduate?
I’m very interested in the National Guard and then working for the DNR (Indiana Department of Natural Resources) with my passion for the outdoors & nature.


Abby A.
Options Noblesville

Grade: 9th

When did you begin attending Options?
At the start of this school year, in August

How has the first semester of the school year gone for you?
It’s been very good. With the campus being smaller, there is just a lot less stress & the chance for each student to be helped when they need it.

Do you have any hobbies, passions, or ways you enjoy spending your time?
I focus on my school, but I also like talking with my friends.

What have you enjoyed most about the Options experience?
I like that it’s really personal. It doesn’t feel like you’re coming here to just do work all day, you get to connect with classmates & teachers.

What is your favorite subject in school?
Probably math or science. It comes easy to me & I like that there is an order to some aspects.

Are there any areas you feel like you’ve improved since attending Options?
I’m better at communicating now, and I’ve become more comfortable at asking questions when I need help.

Do you have any current plans or aspirations for when you’re older, or after you graduate?
Ever since I was younger, I’ve wanted to attend an Ivy League school. I also think it would be cool to work with rockets, and things that involve outer space.

Do you have any hobbies, passions, or ways you enjoy spending your free time?
I like to play basketball and draw. 

What is your favorite thing about attending Options with ABA?
The teachers 

What is your favorite subject in school?
Science, because it’s fun.

Have you improved in any areas since enrolling at Options?
I’m better at paying attention to my teachers.

Do you have any current plans or aspirations for after you graduate?
Undecided.


Ashton H.
Options @ HYCA

Grade: 11th
Hometown: South of Indianapolis, near Franklin 

Do you have any hobbies, passions, or ways you enjoy spending your free time?
I have recently become more interested in reading, but I also know how to play the piano and taught myself just from watching YouTube videos.

What has your HYCA experience been like?
I was looking forward to coming here and improving in some areas, so it has been good. The first couple of weeks were tough with the physical fitness aspect, but I know it is something I’ll need.

What is your favorite subject in school?
I would probably say History since it is based around learning about the past and what has happened across the county & world.

Do you have any current plans or aspirations for after you graduate?
After I graduate from HYCA, I’m going to finish my high school diploma at Options Indiana. Then I plan to enter the military before going into a career in law enforcement.


Ellana B.
Options Westfield Middle School

Do you have any hobbies, passions, or ways you enjoy spending your free time?
I like to ride my bike, make clothes & hang out with my friends. I know how to sew, and I’ve done it for a few years, so I can make things & also repair clothes too.

What is your favorite thing about Options?
I like how everybody is nice, and with not as many students in my classes, I feel like it’s easier to focus & learn what I need to.

What is your favorite subject in school?
History because I like learning about what’s happened before

Have you improved in any areas since first enrolling at Options?
I’ve improved in math

Do you have any current plans or aspirations for after you graduate?
I want to attend FIT (Fashion Institute of Technology) and study fashion or possibly attend The Juilliard School for performing arts. I would love to become a fashion designer.

My hobbies are painting and collecting rocks & crystals

What is your favorite thing about going to Options?
My favorite thing is how I can work at my own pace, and getting good grades is great too.

My favorite is English

I would say that I’ve improved in every area
