Nia
Simon Youth Academy at Options Noblesville

Grade: 9th

When did you enroll at Options?
This is my first year here

Do you have any hobbies, passions, or ways you enjoy spending your free time?
I like to sing and I have been going to singing lessons for about two years.

What have you enjoyed most about the Options experience?
The teachers and how they are more personal.

What is your favorite subject in school?
History

Have you improved in any areas since starting at Options?
Social skills and being more comfortable in the smaller setting.

Do you have a favorite teacher or staff member?
I don’t have a favorite, but I like Beck

Do you have any current plans or aspirations for after you graduate?
Work so I can save money and go to college. I used to want to be a Historian, but I’m certain right now.


Austin
Options with ABA

When did you begin attending Options?
2021

Away from school, do you have any hobbies or ways you enjoy spending your free time?
Sports including baseball, basketball, and bowling

What is your favorite thing about attending Options with ABA?
Learning new things and playing classroom games

What is your favorite subject in school?
Writing, I love to write

Have you improved in any areas since you first started attending Options?
I have improved on fractions.

Do you have any current plans or aspirations for when you’re older, or after you graduate?
I want to play sports.


Landyn
Options Indiana South

Grade: 12th
Hometown: Indianapolis

When did you begin attending Options?
During 9th grade

Do you have any hobbies or ways you enjoy spending your free time?
Drawing, painting, and video games

What have you enjoyed most about the Options experience?
That I can do school online at my pace.

Do you have a favorite teacher or staff member?
I would say my advisor Joni.

Have you improved in any areas since starting at Options?
I don’t really think so. It is all about the same.

Do you have any current plans or aspirations for after you graduate?
I might want to go to a trade school. I am not sure yet. I would like to sell my drawings and paintings.


Caden
Options Westfield Middle School

Grade: 8th

When did you begin attending Options?
During this school year

Away from school, do you have any hobbies or ways you enjoy spending your free time?
I like to make my own music and I do my own vocals. I started doing that last year and I really enjoy it.

What have you enjoyed most about the Options experience?
I like how it is different from other schools with the teachers and everyone being friendly and helpful.

What is your favorite subject in school?
Math

Do you have any current plans or aspirations for after you graduate?
I would like to do something involving music.


Kameron
Options Indiana Middle School

Grade: 6th

When did you begin attending Options?
September 2024

Do you have any hobbies or ways you enjoy spending your free time?
Video games, board games, card games, playing with my puppy.

What is your favorite thing about attending Options Indiana?
The subjects and the teachers.

What is your favorite subject in school?
Math, science, and social studies, they are just fun to learn also the intro to “The Big Bang Theory.”

Do you have a favorite Options teacher or staff member?
No, I like all of the teachers.

Have you improved in any areas since enrolling at Options?
Yes, in focus and attitude.

Do you have any current plans or aspirations for after you graduate?
No.


Malakai
Options Westfield High School

Grade: 10th

When did you begin attending Options?
I started a few months ago

Away from school, do you have any hobbies or ways you enjoy spending your free time?
I play travel baseball so I enjoy doing that and going to the gym also.

What have you enjoyed most about the Options experience?
There are a lot of things, honestly. There are so many fewer students than my previous high school and the teachers are also so nice and take the time to help you individually. Everyone is also able to be themselves and nobody judges them.

Have you improved in any areas since starting at Options?
Being able to get my work turned in on time and my GPA has also improved.

What is your favorite subject in school?
Math

What are your plans or aspirations for after you graduate?
I want to go to college and hopefully play baseball at that level. I am thinking about getting a degree in engineering to go down that path.


Tyson
Options Indiana North

Grade: 11th
Hometown: Columbia City

When did you enroll at Options?
August 2024

Do you have any hobbies, passions, or ways you enjoy spending your free time?
My passion is hockey and that is what I do in my free time.

What have you enjoyed most about the Options experience?
The convenience and the flexibility in the schedule.

What is your favorite subject in school?
My favorite subject is physics.

Have you improved in any areas since starting at Options?
I have improved in English a lot.

Do you have any current plans or aspirations for after you graduate?
To continue playing hockey then go to college to play hockey.
