When did you begin attending Options?
This is my first year
Do you have any hobbies or ways you enjoy spending your free time?
Music, fidgets, automobiles, singing, and spending time in the LCL room!
What have you enjoyed most about Options?
My teachers and classmates! We’re a fun group.
What is your favorite subject in school?
Trey is always very engaged when we are studying math!
Have you improved in any areas since starting at Options?
I’ve improved on being flexible about new routines and transitions!
Do you have any current plans or aspirations for after you graduate?
The world is my oyster! I’d love to drive a bus though 🙂
Naomi
Options Indiana South
Grade: 12th
Hometown: Westfield, IN
When did you enroll at Options?
In 2022 during my sophomore year
Do you have any hobbies, passions, or ways you enjoy spending your free time?
I love the gym, bible studies, and all forms of art.
What have you enjoyed most about the Options experience?
My favorite thing about Options Indiana is that it allows me to maintain a job as well as a balanced lifestyle while continuing my education.
What is your favorite subject in school?
My favorite subject in school is History because I love learning about the past and how we can change our society to make it better.
Do you have a favorite teacher or staff member?
My favorite staff member is Whitney Holmes because she is constantly working to support me and helps me whenever I need help.
Have you improved in any areas since starting at Options?
I have improved in my overall lifestyle as well as my education on managing real-world scenarios.
Do you have any current plans or aspirations for after you graduate?
My current plan after I graduate is to attend Ivy Tech and eventually go to a university where I can study to become a nurse.
Connor
Options Westfield High School

When did you begin attending Options?
During the last school year
Away from school, do you have any hobbies or ways you enjoy spending your free time?
I like playing basketball, soccer, video games and spending time with my friends
Do you have a favorite teacher or staff member?
I would probably say LeAnn
What have you enjoyed most about the Options experience?
I like how there is one-on-one help and the campus and classes are so much smaller than my previous school. The work is also more manageable.
What is your favorite subject in school?
Probably Physical Education or History because I like being active and I like learning about different aspects of the past.
Have you improved in any areas since starting at Options?
My parents would say that I am definitely more mature and I think I am better at handling things also.
What are your plans or aspirations for after you graduate?
I want to become a nurse. Right now I am planning on starting in the EMT dual credit program at J Everett Light Career Center in the fall of 2025 because the CNA program is currently full.
Estella
Options Westfield Middle School
Grade: 8th
When did you begin attending Options?
In September 2024.
Away from school, do you have any hobbies or ways you enjoy spending your free time?
Usually I am at home with my three younger sisters, spending time with them and drawing.
What have you enjoyed most about the Options experience?
I like that I don’t dread getting up and going to school in the morning. I wake up and I’m like “I get to go to school today,” instead of “Oh my gosh, I have school today.”
What is your favorite subject in school?
Probably Math because I’ve always been good at it.
Do you have a favorite teacher or staff member?
Probably Jason, Jodi and Quinn because I see them the most in the middle school.
Have you improved in any areas since starting at Options?
My social skills have definitely gotten better because there are a bunch of kids here that I can easily connect with and they like me for who I am.
Do you have any current plans or aspirations for after you graduate?
Since I was little, I have always loved science and fashion. I know those are different sides of the spectrum, but I always thought I could maybe get into science and have a small fashion business on the side.
Jada
Simon Youth Academy at Options Noblesville

When did you enroll at Options?
This school year
Do you have any hobbies, passions, or ways you enjoy spending your free time?
I like to play video games on my personal computer, mainly Minecraft and Roblox.
What have you enjoyed most about the Options experience?
I like that the campus and number of students is smaller, and everyone is nice.
Have you improved in any areas since starting at Options?
I have definitely improved my vocabulary.
Do you have a favorite teacher or staff member?
I like a lot of people here, but I would say some of my favorites are Maria, Ben, Wendy and Stacy.
What is your favorite subject in school?
I’m not really sure, but I enjoy lunch time.
Have you improved in any areas since enrolling at Options?
I feel like I am more confident in myself and have made friends here more than at my previous school.
Do you have any current plans or aspirations for after you graduate?
I want to go to college and will probably start at Ivy Tech. I’m not sure what exactly I want to pursue yet.
