Aubree
Options Indiana Middle School
Grade: 8th
Hometown: Mooresville, Indiana
When did you begin attending Options?
I enrolled at the beginning of 8th grade, so August 2024
Do you have any hobbies or ways you enjoy spending your free time?
My hobbies are doing nails.
What is your favorite thing about attending Options Indiana?
My favorite thing about Options Indiana is the teachers aren’t so hard on me because other schools I have been to the teachers were really hard on me!
What is your favorite subject in school?
My favorite subject in school is science because I like learning about new experiments.
Do you have a favorite Options teacher or staff member?
Yes, my favorite teacher is Mrs. Kiersten because she is such a nice and sweet person! And she helps me out a lot when I need it.
Have you improved in any areas since enrolling at Options?
I have gotten way better at math!
Do you have any current plans or aspirations for after you graduate?
Yes, my plans are to do hair and nails.
Evan
Options Westfield High School
Grade: 11th
When did you begin attending Options?
Towards the end of 8th grade
Away from school, do you have any hobbies or ways you enjoy spending your free time?
Outside of school, I like to read the Word, spend time with my girlfriend, spend time with my Mom and my dog, and hang out and do Martial Arts with friends.
Do you have a favorite teacher or staff member?
I would say Sean and Blaine.
What have you enjoyed most about the Options experience?
My favorite part has been introducing people to Options. If I have a chance to help a student find their group of friends or be part of my group of friends, it really sets them on the right path so that they can make friends and be successful.
Have you improved in any areas since starting at Options?
I have become better at socializing and handling conflict, no matter who it is with.
What is your favorite subject in school?
History
What are your plans or aspirations for after you graduate?
I have been thinking about becoming a Marine Chaplain, but whether I join the Marines or not, I would like to become a Pastor in some form.
Felix
Options Westfield Middle School
Grade: 8th
When did you begin attending Options?
I started in the online program (Options Indiana) during the second quarter of my 7th grade year, and started at this campus in the second quarter of this school year.
Away from school, do you have any hobbies or ways you enjoy spending your free time?
My hobbies change pretty often, so it depends. Right now I am really into ‘doodling’ and I also play drums in a band with my friends. I can play the guitar too, but we needed a drummer so I learned how to do that also.
What have you enjoyed most about the Options experience?
It has been really easy to make friends and I didn’t have to search every nook and cranny to find people that have similar interests as me.
What is your favorite subject in school?
Probably English, because I really enjoy reading and writing.
Do you have a favorite teacher or staff member?
Alex
Have you improved in any areas since starting at Options?
I think Math and in my personal life. Being at Options, in a more relaxed environment, has helped me with learning because the teachers have more time to help with there being less students in classes.
Do you have any current plans or aspirations for after you graduate?
My dream career right now is to become a surgeon, and I at least want to go the medical route for college.
Jacob
Simon Youth Academy at Options Noblesville
Grade: 11th
When did you enroll at Options?
Towards the end of last school year
Do you have any hobbies, passions, or ways you enjoy spending your free time?
I really enjoy dancing and music, along with boxing, weight-lifting and running. Music and exercise keep me busy for sure because I also produce music and have my own music studio at home.
What have you enjoyed most about the Options experience?
Options helped me get caught up on my work, and I have also made some really good friends and memories here that I am not going to forget.
What is your favorite subject in school?
Probably Math because I am good at it
Have you improved in any areas since starting at Options?
I’ve definitely become more mature and better about making good decisions.
Do you have a favorite teacher or staff member?
It is tough to pick one, but I like Wendy, Ben, Maria and Troy
Do you have any current plans or aspirations for after you graduate?
I definitely want to go for a career as a music producer. I will be enrolling in JELL next year for their music and sound program, so I am excited to keep learning more. I like all types of music, so I really enjoy being in that field.
Hunter
Options Indiana High School
Grade: 11th
Hometown: I’m originally from Cincinnati, Ohio but have been in Indianapolis, near Clermont for most of my life.
When did you begin attending Options?
During the second quarter of this school year
Do you have any hobbies or ways you enjoy spending your free time?
I like to drum in my free time and ski during vacations.
What have you enjoyed most about Options Indiana?
I get a lot more time outside of school to spend with friends and family.
What is your favorite subject in school?
History, it’s always been one of my favorite topics I’ve been interested in.
Do you have a favorite teacher or staff member?
Deanne because she’s helped me get started with this program.
Have you improved in any areas since starting at Options?
My English has improved a lot since I’ve enrolled.
Do you have any current plans or aspirations for after you graduate?
My plans are to either go to Purdue or go to the Lift Academy for pilot school after I graduate.
Mary

Away from school, do you have any hobbies or ways you enjoy spending your free time?
I like listening to rock and hip-hop music
What is your favorite thing about attending Options with ABA?
I like getting snacks and getting my name on the WOW chart.
What is your favorite subject in school?
I like Art because it makes me feel creative.
Have you improved in any areas since starting at Options?
I’m a lot more flexible and I like to help people.
Do you have any current plans or aspirations for when you’re older, or after you graduate?
I would like to become an artist or graphic designer.
