When did you begin attending Options?
I started coming here earlier in this school year.
Do you have any hobbies or ways you enjoy spending your free time?
I like working and staying busy. I currently have a job at Texas Roadhouse. I started working there a few months ago and was named Employee of the Month for November so that was cool. I started off as a bus boy, now I’m a food runner and will soon start training to be a food expeditor. When I’m not working, I enjoy playing video games.
What have you enjoyed most about the Options experience?
I like how it is smaller than other schools because it is easier to be more connected with the teachers and other students.
What is your favorite subject in school?
I’ve always liked Math. I understand it, so that helps enjoy it more.
Have you improved in any areas since starting at Options?
I think the environment here has helped me get good grades and improve in that area. The support is there, so if you take advantage, you can really be successful.
Do you have a favorite teacher or staff member?
It is hard to pick a favorite because everyone here is really supportive & cares about students being successful.
Do you have any current plans or aspirations for after you graduate?
I want to attend Lift Academy, which is a pilot training school in Indianapolis. I went to their Aviation Career Day with information from our Counselor Rob (Stewart), and that made me realize that I want to become a commercial airline pilot. Life Academy works with Republic Airways and if you do well, they can sponsor you and help cover tuition costs.
