When did you enroll at Options?
At the start of this school year
Do you have any hobbies, passions, or ways you enjoy spending your free time?
I like to play different types of games, sometimes video games and sometimes board games, it just depends on the day.
What have you enjoyed most about the Options experience?
I went to two middle schools before I started here and I like how it is different here. The teachers know how to connect with the students and help them be successful.
What is your favorite subject in school?
I would say history. I like learning about different areas of history also and I’m starting to venture into pop culture history now.
Have you improved in any areas since starting at Options?
Yes, I feel like my overall mood has improved because I am happy to be here. I have also become better at hearing other people’s opinions.
Do you have a favorite teacher or staff member?
I really like my english teacher Vince and my science teacher Jason
Do you have any current plans or aspirations for after you graduate?
I have always wanted to be a musician.

When did you begin attending Options?
A few years ago when I was in 6th grade
Away from school, do you have any hobbies or ways you enjoy spending your free time?
Hang out with family and friends.
What have you enjoyed most about the Options experience?
The one-on-one support and not having to struggle by yourself.
What is your favorite subject in school?
Art because I like to draw
Have you improved in any areas since enrolling at Options?
I have more self esteem and I am more comfortable with talking to people without being nervous.
Do you have any current plans or aspirations for after you graduate?
There are a couple of things – I either want to help animals or go into the Air Force.

I have been here since my freshman year
Away from school, do you have any hobbies or ways you enjoy spending your free time?
I like to play video games and also enjoy spending time outside going for walks.
What have you enjoyed most about the Options experience?
I like how friendly everyone is and supportive. If you need any help, someone is willing to assist you.
What is your favorite subject in school?
English
Have you improved in any areas since you first started attending Options?
I would say I have improved in being more social.
What are your plans or aspirations for after you graduate?
I want to go into automotive service. I am currently attending J Everett Light Career Center for automotive and I have really enjoyed getting that hands-on experience in the automotive field.

Do you have any hobbies or ways you enjoy spending your free time?
My hobbies are exploring nature and reading.
What have you enjoyed most about the Options experience?
All the teachers and workers are friendly and always willing to help when I need it.
What is your favorite subject in school?
My favorite subject in school is speech because I enjoy writing.
Do you have a favorite teacher or staff member in Options Indiana?
My favorite teacher would be Whitney Holmes. The first time I met her she was very friendly and welcoming. She’s always willing to help me when I need it.
Have you improved in any areas since starting at Options?
Yes, speaking up more when I need help on my coursework.
Do you have any current plans or aspirations for after you graduate?
Yes, I’m planning on going to college for Business and Law.

The teachers, they are very helpful and are always there to answer student questions
What is your favorite subject in school?
Social Studies, because I like learning about life years ago

Kiersten – she is my advisor, she is very helpful and is always open to questions
Have you improved in any areas since enrolling at Options?
Yes responsibility, every morning I have to fill out my attendance
Do you have any current plans or aspirations for after you graduate?
I would like to help animals. I am not sure what that is yet but I know it will be helping animals who can’t help themselves.

During the last school year
Do you have any hobbies or ways you enjoy spending your free time?
I usually use my free time at the gym.
Do you have a favorite Options teacher or staff member?
Carrie – She always knew I could finish high school and was the only one who believed in me because I didn’t even believe in myself.
What is your favorite thing about attending Options Indiana?
I can go at my own pace.
What is your favorite subject in school?
History because it is interesting.
Have you improved in any areas since enrolling at Options?
My motivation to get my diploma has improved.
Do you have any current plans or aspirations for after you graduate?
I want to go to college to study Nutrition/Health or Business. I’d like to go to Ball State.
