Options Indiana High School
Grade: 12th
Where are you from in Indiana?
My hometown is Noblesville, and I am currently in Arcadia, Indiana.
When did you enroll at Options?
I first started at Options back in October 2018.
Do you have any hobbies, passions, or ways you enjoy spending your free time?
My passions would be video games and watching sports.
What is your favorite thing about Options?
My favorite thing about going to Options would be the environment that the teachers give to the students. I have nothing but great things to say about the teachers.
What is your favorite subject in school?
My favorite subject is History.
Have you improved in any areas since first enrolling at Options?
I have improved in many areas since enrolling in Options, I have definitely become better at math, and I have had a better mindset mentally with doing my schoolwork.
Do you have any current plans or aspirations for after you graduate?
One of the many goals I would want to achieve is to go to college and become a computer software engineer.
Austen C.

Hometown: Mount Vernon, Indiana
What has your HYCA experience been like?
The first two weeks, also known as the Acclimation Phase, was really tiring because it’s a lot of PT (Physical Training), either running or pushups. I’ve played football growing up, but nothing can prepare you for all the pushups & PT. The academics have been going well too, and I’m working towards getting credits so I’m ahead when I leave here.
Do you have any hobbies, passions, or ways you enjoy spending your free time?
Football. I have played since elementary school & just love it.
How has Options @ HYCA been beneficial to you?
I’ve really grown in maturity & being better about doing what I’m supposed to do. I also have become pretty good at pushups.
What is your favorite subject in school?
I would say math. It has just always come easy to me & I’ve excelled in it.
Do you have any current career plans or aspirations?
I would like to become a Diesel Mechanic. I love building cards and working with my hands, and that is a job that I’ve wanted to work towards.

Options with ABA
How long have you been enrolled in Options with ABA?
This is my third year at Options with ABA in Fishers.
Do you have any hobbies, passions, or ways you enjoy spending your free time?
I like watching and making videos on YouTube and spending time on the computer. I also like playing badminton, drawing, and boxing.
What is your favorite thing about attending Options with ABA?
My favorite thing is the teachers.
What is your favorite subject in school?
Science, because I love working on projects & experiments.
Have you improved in any areas since enrolling at Options?
I’ve learned how to be more respectful and a much better friend.
Do you have any current plans or aspirations for after you graduate?
I want to be a content creator on YouTube or an Artist.
Keaton M.
Options Westfield
Grade: 11th
How has the first month of the school year been for you?
It’s been good. I like how small Options is. At my previous school, I was with 5,400 other students, and you get lost in the crowd. Here it is easy to connect with teachers, plus everyone knows everyone by name.
Away from school, do you have any hobbies, passions, or ways you enjoy spending your free time?
I really enjoy reading books & I also have been trying some new activities lately with my dad. My favorite author is Orson Scott Card, because I just love the Ender’s Game & Ender’s Shadow books. I also like the Percy Jackson book series a lot.
What have you enjoyed most about the Options experience?
I really like the teachers. They all work to help students. I also really enjoy the lunch period because of the gym time and access to the equipment to use.
What is your favorite subject in school?
My favorite subject has always been History. I’m taking a Mythology & Folklore class currently, but I just love learning about history & I think it is important to know.
Do you have any current plans or aspirations for when you’re older, or after you graduate?
I don’t know if I want to go to college or a trade school. I’m intrigued by some trade school opportunities, and I also really like the concept of welding, so I’ve been thinking about which I want to pursue.

How has the first month of the school year been for you?
It’s really been going great. I’m used to eight classes every day, so with just having four each day, it is much easier to manage everything and retain the material.
Away from school, do you have any hobbies, passions, or ways you enjoy spending your free time?
I mostly play video games on my computer. I typically gravitate towards survival games and have been into Day of Dragons lately. Pokémon is probably my all-time favorite video game.
What have you enjoyed most about the Options experience?
I’ve met some really great people here and made some friends. There’s a lot fewer classes with less people in each class, so it has been easier to complete work with the schedule & the support from teachers.
What is your favorite subject in school?
Science has always been an easy subject for me

How has the first month of the school year been for you?
Great!
Why do you think you were selected as Student of the Month?
I think it was because I turned in all of my assignments on time & I also have got all A’s.
Do you have any hobbies, passions, or ways you enjoy spending your free time?
I like drawing, fishing & swimming.
What is your favorite thing about Options?
The classes aren’t as big, so I am able to get more help.
What is your favorite subject in school?
Art 🙂

I want to learn how to train dogs!
