When did you enroll at Options?
August 2021
How has your time at Options been for you?
It has been good; I have been getting good grades too. I have switched schools before and I’m excited to go here for high school also.
Away from school, do you have any hobbies, passions, or ways you enjoy spending your free time?
I used to play a lot of sports and now I ride my bike a lot. I used to ride horses also for eight years. For sports, I played soccer, volleyball, ballet, gymnastics, and my favorite would be playing baseball with my dad and my brother. I also got a dog, a mini-Aussie Shepherd, last year that I love spending time with.
Do you have a favorite Options teacher or staff member?
I don’t have a favorite, but they’re all great. They know we learn differently, and they also ask questions about how we’re doing.
What have you enjoyed most about the Options experience?
I would say I like the school because it’s smaller than where I used to go and nicer. I also really like all the other students and teachers.
What is your favorite subject in school?
My favorite is math because I like to solve the problems in different ways.
Have you improved in any areas since you first started attending Options?
I would probably say my grades.
Do you have any current plans or aspirations for when you’re older, or after you graduate?
I would like to buy my own land, have my own animals and in a way where it is a place for animals of all types that need a home. I like animals, so I think that would be cool to do.

What is your hometown?
I am originally from and was mostly raised in Lancaster, Wisconsin.
When did you enroll at Options?
I enrolled some time in 2019.
Do you have any hobbies, passions, or ways you enjoy spending your free time?
I usually enjoy doing make-up and hair, for men and women, and I have been practicing nails on others and myself.
What is your favorite thing about Options Indiana?
My favorite thing about Options is that when I get behind on an assignment or two there is always enough time for me to catch up and I like how flexible Options is with their students’ schedules!
What is your favorite subject in school?
My favorite subject would be either learning about Space or learning about the true history of certain events.
Do you have a favorite teacher or staff member in Options Indiana?
I personally wouldn’t say I have a favorite I really enjoy all the staff members they have always been kind and respectful.
Have you improved in any areas since enrolling at Options?
At my previous school, I did find myself having a very hard time focusing and even trying to get my work completed was a challenge for me, I do think I have improved on my work ethic and being more motivated and more focused since attending Options.
Do you have any current plans or aspirations for after you graduate?
Either sometime soon or next year I want to try and take the CNA class whether it is through the school or a workplace. Once that class is completed, I would like to take some type of hair, nail, make up class. I would like to learn more about men’s hair and how to do anyone’s hair there is this class that you can take for lash techs for false lash extensions. After that I also would like to take this class where you can become a certified dog groomer through Petco/ PetSmart because my Corgi named Iris has long fluffy hair, and sometime in the future it would be amazing to learn Spanish.

How long have you been enrolled in Options with ABA?
I have attended Options with ABA for two years.
Do you have any hobbies, passions or ways you enjoy spending your free time?
I enjoy listening to music, spending time outside, and talking with friends.
What is your favorite thing about attending Options with ABA?
I’ve been able to meet new people and I really like having face to face interaction with people.
What is your favorite subject in school?
History is my favorite subject because I enjoy learning about the people of the past.
Have you improved in any areas since enrolling at Options?
I have improved my social skills.
Do you have any current plans or aspirations for after you graduate?
I plan to attend college and hope to become an author or a bounty hunter.
Birti
Simon Youth Academy at Options Noblesville

When did you enroll at Options?
August 2021
Do you have any hobbies, passions, or ways you enjoy spending your free time?
I like to practice acting and volunteer with animals. I’ve been acting for just about a year and hope to become a professional actor one day. I’ve volunteered with animals at the Hamilton County Humane Society and at Indy Humane, and I’ve enjoyed helping the animals. I also work as a Page at the Indianapolis Central Library and have really been enjoying that.
What have you enjoyed most about the Options experience?
I like how it is smaller and teachers are all nice. I like that they celebrate things here and have things like parties & different fun celebrations throughout the school year.
What is your favorite subject in school?
I really enjoy writing and creative writing.
Do you have a favorite Options teacher or staff member?
Probably Stacie and Robyn.
Do you have any current plans or aspirations for after you graduate?
I think I’m going to do college at Ivy Tech first and then I will go to an acting college – I’m looking at one in Ohio.

Options Westfield High School

When did you enroll at Options?
During this school year
How has the school year been for you?
It has been going well and I’m enjoying it more than I did my last school.
Away from school, do you have any hobbies, passions, or ways you enjoy spending your free time?
I’ve got into horseback riding recently and have really been enjoying that.
Do you have a favorite Options teacher or staff member?
Sean and Emily, but it is hard to pick because everyone is nice.
What have you enjoyed most about the Options experience?
I’ve liked how the school is smaller and my other school was huge. The teachers are awesome at Options, and they care about how I’m doing.
What is your favorite subject in school?
Math because I like the different types of difficulty and working through it.
Have you improved in any areas since you first started attending Options?
I feel like my grades are way better than before.
Do you have any current plans or aspirations for when you’re older, or after you graduate?
I like working with kids, so I think something in that area.

Options Indiana Middle School

What is your hometown/Where are you located in Indiana?
I was born in Columbus, Indiana. I currently live in Franklin, Indiana.
When did you enroll at Options?
March 2023. I enrolled at Options because it is the best place for me.
Do you have any hobbies, passions or ways you enjoy spending your free time?
I enjoy doing crafts and I love skateboarding.
What is your favorite thing about Options Indiana?
My favorite thing about Options Indiana is the way we can have breaks during the day and how this school is a lot easier for me than regular school.
What is your favorite subject in school?
I really enjoy math because sometimes I understand it, but it also challenges me as well.
Do you have a favorite teacher or staff member in Options Indiana?
My favorite teacher is Kiersten because I talk to her the most. She is amazing to talk to, and she is very helpful. She also is one of the nicest teachers I’ve ever had.
Have you improved in any areas since enrolling at Options?
I have definitely improved since enrolling here. My grades have improved in all classes compared to my last school. I also have a better attitude towards school since enrolling here.
Do you have any current plans or aspirations for after you graduate?
I would love to go to cosmetology school once I graduate. I have always wanted to do people’s hair and nails.

I’m from Fresno, California, and I’m currently in Brownsburg, IN.

Away from school, do you have any hobbies, passions, or ways you enjoy spending your free time?
I enjoy spending free time being outside.
What have you enjoyed most about the Options experience?
I would probably say the classes in Options Indiana.
What is your favorite subject in school?
Business because I get to learn about a lot of new things, including jobs and money.
Do you have a favorite teacher or staff member in Options Indiana?
My advisor Justin because he’s just a nice person and is always willing to help me and can also explain things really well.
Have you improved in any areas since you first started attending Options?
I’ve improved in my grades and in my overall attitude.
Do you have any current plans or aspirations for when you’re older, or after you graduate?
I am thinking about going to trade school or joining the Marines.
