Jaxton
Options Indiana Middle School
Grade: 6th
Hometown: Danville, Indiana
When did you begin attending Options?
This school year
Do you have any hobbies or ways you enjoy spending your free time?
I play travel hockey in Ohio and I like to read.
What is your favorite thing about attending Options Indiana?
The flexibility and being able to work ahead. Being able to do that makes it possible for me to play hockey in Ohio and have more time for hockey.
What is your favorite subject in school?
Math because I like solving problems and I am good at it.
Do you have a favorite Options teacher or staff member?
I think they are all great. They get back to you quickly, they’re super helpful and nice.
Have you improved in any areas since enrolling at Options?
Everywhere, you take notes on the study guide with the lesson and you can use it on the test.
Do you have any current plans or aspirations for after you graduate?
To play in the National Hockey League
Maddie
Options Westfield High School
Grade: 10th
When did you begin attending Options?
Three years ago when I was in middle school
Away from school, do you have any hobbies or ways you enjoy spending your free time?
I like to draw, and I also like to go on walks a lot. I just really enjoy being in nature.
Do you have a favorite teacher or staff member?
I have a few favorites because they are really supportive and flexible, so I would probably say Jody, Blaine and Gwen.
What have you enjoyed most about the Options experience?
Before I came to Options I had bad social anxiety and that was a big obstacle for me, but now I’m able to talk to people easily. I also like how flexible it is here.
What is your favorite subject in school?
English or History
What are your plans or aspirations for after you graduate?
My dream job is to become a landscape architect. Not sure if I will start my own business, but I am very interested in that. Nature is just so calming to me and I think I would love that job.
Ashton
Options Westfield Middle School

When did you begin attending Options?
Late in 2024, so a few months ago
Away from school, do you have any hobbies or ways you enjoy spending your free time?
I like gaming.
What have you enjoyed most about the Options experience?
I really like it because the teachers and environment have really helped me learn. I didn’t have that at my old schools and everyone here is always willing to help.
What is your favorite subject in school?
Probably Math because I’m good at it.
Do you have a favorite teacher or staff member?
I like all of the teachers in the middle school.
Have you improved in any areas since starting at Options?
Social skills because I’ve made a lot of friends here.
Do you have any current plans or aspirations for after you graduate?
I don’t really know right now.
Julia
Simon Youth Academy at Options Noblesville

When did you enroll at Options?
A couple months ago
Do you have any hobbies, passions, or ways you enjoy spending your free time?
I train with the Marines and spend time with my friends. I’m interested in joining the Marines and I asked someone if there is anything I can do to prepare for boot camp and other stuff, so I do that three times a week and each time is two hours.
What have you enjoyed most about the Options experience?
The teachers because of how they connect with students.

Do you have any current plans or aspirations for after you graduate?
I want to join the Marines and hopefully become a lawyer within the Marines.

Do you have any hobbies or ways you enjoy spending your free time?
Playing hockey and hanging out with friends
What have you enjoyed most about Options Indiana?
My favorite thing about Options is that I can do my school work wherever.
What is your favorite subject in school?
My favorite subject is math because I’m good with numbers.
Do you have a favorite teacher or staff member?
I would say all of my teachers for helping me.
Have you improved in any areas since starting at Options?
I’d say I’ve improved at staying on task since enrolling at Options.
Do you have any current plans or aspirations for after you graduate?
My currents plans are to go to college after high school.
