Tucker
Simon Youth Academy at Options Noblesville

Grade: 10th

When did you enroll at Options?
Last school year

Do you have any hobbies, passions, or ways you enjoy spending your free time?
My dad has a photography business so I like to help him with that in different ways. I also like to go fishing.

What have you enjoyed most about the Options experience?
I like the smaller class sizes here and teachers are a lot more helpful.

What is your favorite subject in school?
Geometry and Space Science

Have you improved in any areas since starting at Options?
Definitely in math, because my grades are much better than before I came to Options.

Do you have a favorite teacher or staff member?
Barbie

Do you have any current plans or aspirations for after you graduate?
I currently have my own rodent removal business and I would like to continue to grow that. If that doesn’t work out, I would like to be a mechanic.


Jack

When did you begin attending Options?
This is my second year

Away from school, do you have any hobbies or ways you enjoy spending your free time?
I enjoy playing video games

What is your favorite thing about attending Options with ABA?
I am able to do more educational and fun activities in a smaller setting.

What is your favorite subject in school?
My favorite subjects are Science and History because I find them interesting.

Have you improved in any areas since you first started attending Options?
I am more social and I feel better overall.

Do you have any current plans or aspirations for when you’re older, or after you graduate?
Not at this time


Cassidy
Options Indiana South

Grade: 10th
Hometown: Markleville, IN

When did you begin attending Options?
2021

Do you have any hobbies or ways you enjoy spending your free time?
I love to paint and read books.

What have you enjoyed most about the Options experience?
My favorite thing is I get to do school without worrying about anything that’s not school.

What is your favorite subject in school?
My favorite subject is world history because I think it’s fascinating to see how people live and have lived around the world.

Have you improved in any areas since starting at Options?
I improved so much in math I used to dread math but now I like it.

Do you have any current plans or aspirations for after you graduate?
I want to take a year off and travel and then go into medical school.


Elayna
Options Westfield Middle School

Grade: 8th

When did you begin attending Options?
I started at the beginning of this school year

Away from school, do you have any hobbies or ways you enjoy spending your free time?
I like to crochet, so I am always working on a different project. Right now I am working on a blanket and sweater. My grandma first got me into crocheting when I was in kindergarten, so I have been doing it for awhile.

What have you enjoyed most about the Options experience?
I like how I feel like I can get my work done easier because there isn’t always stress or pressure.

What is your favorite subject in school?
Math

Have you improved in any areas since enrolling at Options?
I have more self esteem and I am more comfortable with talking to people without being nervous.

Do you have any current plans or aspirations for after you graduate?
I think I would like to become a Social Worker because I feel like I can help people.


Olly
Options Westfield High School

Grade: 11th

When did you begin attending Options?
August 2024

Away from school, do you have any hobbies or ways you enjoy spending your free time?
I enjoy being creative and making different types of art. My favorites are fiber art, sewing, crocheting, needle felting, and I also make jewelry.

What have you enjoyed most about the Options experience?
I love how close the teachers are with students and it feels more personal than when I was at a bigger school. I also really like smaller class sizes.

Do you have a favorite Options teacher or staff member?
Frieda because we have the same energy and get along really well. She is also the advisor for the Art Club which I am a member of.

What is your favorite subject in school?
Art

Have you improved in any areas since you first started attending Options?
I feel like I’ve gotten really good at advocating for myself. It’s something I’ve been working on for a long time, but here I feel like I can say, “hey, I need this,” and I’ll actually be heard the first time. I’ve also grown academically in a few weeks. I have struggled at turning in assignments on time, but here I feel like I can actually get things done on time, because of the support from my teachers to turn it in.

What are your plans or aspirations for after you graduate?
I plan to go to college and get my education degree. I want to become a licensed social worker or a teacher. I have also considered working in Art Therapy.


Anais
Options Indiana North

Grade: 11th
Hometown: I was born in Indianapolis and I am now in Lebanon.

When did you begin attending Options?
May 2024

Do you have any hobbies or ways you enjoy spending your free time?
I ride horses and enjoy spending time with my friends, family and animals. I read and do photography and I’m a tomboy.

What is your favorite thing about attending Options Indiana?
It’s a move at your own pace school and I also like the support and the teachers.

What is your favorite subject in school?
English and History. I like learning about the history of the world and the wars. I have always liked English.

Have you improved in any areas since enrolling at Options?
I have improved in getting my credits done and academic grades.

Do you have any current plans or aspirations for after you graduate?
I plan to do online courses to become a Spanish translator in a hospital and then go to college to become an X-ray Technician.


Vincent
Options Indiana Middle School

Grade: 8th
Hometown: Lebanon, IN in Boone County

When did you begin attending Options?
I started at the end of last year.

Do you have any hobbies or ways you enjoy spending your free time?
I like skateboarding, playing guitar, video games, and photography.

What is your favorite thing about attending Options Indiana?
The teachers are nice, they don’t make me feel like I’m annoying or dumb because I take longer to learn.

What is your favorite subject in school?
Math. I have a huge notebook that I write everything in for math and I just think it’s fun.

Do you have a favorite Options teacher or staff member?
Not really because I haven’t met most of them, but I can say that they are all amazing.

Have you improved in any areas since enrolling at Options?
Math used to be my worst subject, but now I can work at my own pace and now love it.

Do you have any current plans or aspirations for after you graduate?
I want to be an Orthodontist.
