When did you join the Options team?

When did you begin working in the field of education?
I began my education career with substitute work while in college (1989). I graduated in December of 1991. I began my formal teaching career by teaching high school Biology the spring semester of 1992 for Western High School in Russiaville, Indiana. The following year, I taught for Marion-Adams School corporation teaching fourth grade. I returned to Western High School the following year to teach grades 8-12 (all subjects) Learning Disabilities.
What do you enjoy most about being part of the Options team?
I am enjoying the people and positive environment. I enjoy having access to students that are in need of an alternative education.
What do you enjoy outside of Options?
I enjoy outside activities. I love to bike, run, hike, watch baseball, and walk my dogs. I like to travel now that we are empty nesters.
