When did you begin working in the field of education?
I began teaching at Western High School in 1994 teaching business and computer science classes. I spent 25 years at Western before moving to Culver, Indiana where I taught computer science at Culver Community High School for 2 years. In 2021, I retired from the classroom and moved into the educational technology industry where I was a Professional Development Specialist at CodeHS. There I was able to share my experiences in teaching with other teachers around the United States.
What do you enjoy most about being part of the Options team?
I look forward to working with high school students again in helping them be successful.
What do you enjoy outside of Options?
I enjoy any outdoor adventure, DIY home improvement projects, fitness, and spending time with my husband, kids and grandkids. The beach is definitely my happy place!
