When did you join the Options team?
August 2020
When did you begin working in the field of education?
I started as a substitute teacher in March 2015. In June 2016, I was hired on as the Lead Educator and Case Manager with Growing Minds Educational Services. I began tutoring to help students who needed additional support and provided training for staff. I worked with families and support teams to identify gaps in academic and social skills and help create measurable and attainable goals.
What do you enjoy most about being part of the Options team?
As a new employee, I have loved how welcoming everyone has been. I am looking forward to working with many skilled teachers and administrators at Options. I am also excited to build a working teacher-student relationship and meet students where they are at, to help guide them to where they need to be.
What do you enjoy outside of Options?
In my free time, I enjoy reading, cooking, spending time outdoors, and playing with our cats. I also am a life-long soccer player. I enjoy coaching my High School soccer team during our Fall session and playing when I have the opportunity.
