When did you begin working in the field of education?
I became a Certified Substitute Teacher in 2002 and have taught intermittently in the years since. I mainly subbed in Special Education, but did take longer-term positions in elementary and middle school art. I transitioned from being a Certified Social Worker for the State of Indiana during the pandemic, and have taught in a Certified Teaching Position for an ASD classroom for the last two years.
What do you enjoy most about being part of the Options team?
I am excited about my new position with Options, as I enjoy teaching differentiated instruction and look forward to this unique experience.
What do you enjoy outside of Options?
Outside of teaching, I enjoy various arts, gardening, cooking, and spending quality time with my family and friends.
