August 2005 as a high school English teacher at Lafayette Jefferson High School in Lafayette, Indiana
What do you enjoy most about being part of the Options team?
I enjoy getting to know each student as an individual. The students and staff can be themselves, showing their personalities and passions in the classroom and outside of it. I have a lot of control over what I teach and how I teach, which shows how much faith Options has in their teachers.
What do you enjoy outside of Options?
I spend the majority of my time with my husband and two kids. I read a lot of books, usually several at a time, and visit the library almost every week.
