What do you enjoy most about being part of the Options team?
I would have to sum it up to my team, the support and the autonomy of my role. Our team comes with a lot of experience with our unique population of students and together we are what I would say is a well oiled and fully functioning machine (team)! We all have a passion to learn, grow, and become better educators. The support not only from my team, but from Admin more specifically from our building leader Lisa Chandler. She inspires me to keep reaching higher levels within my professional career and personal growth. Additionally, despite how busy she is she she can always be available in times of need, support, and words of encouragement. And last but certainly not least, because of my team, support for my our principal as well as my own expertise, I love how I can put my spin on training, how to be of assistance to our staff, and building rapport with our students and families. I feel all of my education and experience has led me to a workplace I enjoy and feel valued.
What do you enjoy outside of Options?
Outside of work, I enjoy time with my family making memories, attending church, enjoying Mommy time away (i.e. getting my nails done) & enjoying a hot cup of coffee, specifically ones that I make at home, Starbucks & more recently finding and trying new quaint coffee shops 🙂
