What do you enjoy most about being part of the Options team?

– What I enjoy about working for Options, with the students, the parents, the team members, and the community partners is very difficult to put in words. The Belong. Believe. Achieve. motto is not just for the students. It’s a part of the culture in every vein of our organization. As a teacher, I felt empowered in ways I had never felt before to be innovative and was supported by my administrators to experiment for the sake of meeting students where they needed to be met and making our schools a better place. As an administrator, now, I strive to offer that same support to our teams. We hire experts in the field and set expectations to ensure they are treated as such. This allows room for innovative thought and creative problem solving. Each of our team members are supportive of each other, offer encouragement when needed, strong support when needed, and a critical eye when needed. I couldn’t ask for a better team, no family, to work with and for.
