When did you begin working in education?
Full-time: August 1996 as a high school Math and U.S. History teacher in Indianapolis, IN. (I also served as a substitute teacher for various schools in north-central Indiana for a couple of years prior to that.)
When did you join the Options team?
August 2023
What do you enjoy most about being part of the Options team?
I am fully convinced that virtual education has more value and purpose than news reports claim, and I am eager to see if Option’s approach to it is more effective than my previous virtual teaching experience.
What do you enjoy outside of Options?
I am a long-time heavy enthusiast of anime and related media, to the point of currently blogging about it and having for many years written professionally about it. (And I have the DVD/Blu-Ray collection, wall scrolls/posters, and figures to prove it!) I have also played Dungeons & Dragons for decades and regularly play more advanced board games.
