Options Westfield Middle School

When did you enroll at Options?
I started within the last few months.
Do you have any hobbies, passions, or ways you enjoy spending your free time?
I stay busy playing a lot of different sports like track, soccer, and cross county. I enjoy spending time outside and cooking. I’m also in scouts. We also have a lot of different animals at my house, so I like helping take care of them.
What have you enjoyed most about the Options experience?
It feels a lot more calm than my old school and everyone is helpful.
What is your favorite subject in school?
I don’t really have a favorite. I like a lot of them and it depends on the day, so some days I’m more in the mood for reading and other days I might be more in the mood for social studies or math.
Have you improved in any areas since starting at Options?
I’m not sure yet.
Do you have a favorite teacher or staff member?
Not really because I like them all, but Amy is really helpful when I need something.
Do you have any current plans or aspirations for after you graduate?
I really enjoy cooking, so possibly culinary school. I am also considering going into the military.

When did you begin attending Options?
In 2021.
Do you have any hobbies or ways you enjoy spending your free time?
In my free time, I’m usually drawing or playing video games.
What have you enjoyed most about the Options experience?
My favorite thing would probably be the amount of flexibility and freedom you have as a student.
What is your favorite subject in school?
My favorite subject in school is science, specifically the astronomy part of it. It is something that has always interested me since I was a child.
Do you have a favorite teacher or staff member in Options Indiana?
I don’t think I have a favorite. Many teachers and other staff members have helped me and I appreciate it a lot
Have you improved in any areas since starting at Options?
I think I have improved in many ways. I had a rough start when i first enrolled, but eventually I got used to everything and my academics started improving
Do you have any current plans or aspirations for after you graduate?
After I graduate, I want to either go to college or get certified so I can get a job involving tech like IT, cyber security or software engineering.

Simon Youth Academy at Options Noblesville

When did you begin attending Options?
Three years ago when I was in 8th grade.
Away from school, do you have any hobbies or ways you enjoy spending your free time?
I have a 3D printer, and I like to create items from that. I’ve done that for a few years now, so just trying to learn more about that.
What is your favorite subject in school?
Definitely math.
Do you have a favorite teacher or staff member?
I would say Josh and Phil. They are great to talk to and really supportive also.
Have you improved in any areas since enrolling at Options?
I am definitely more comfortable and social.
Do you have any current plans or aspirations for after you graduate?
I’m interested in pursuing a career in engineering. I know Purdue has a good program for that, so I’m thinking about mechanical engineering.

During last school year.
Away from school, do you have any hobbies or ways you enjoy spending your free time?
I like reading, writing and hanging out with friends.
What have you enjoyed most about the Options experience?
I like that it is a smaller school. It is also a good community that accommodates student needs and the teachers are so helpful and understanding.
What is your favorite subject in school?
English. Mainly because it is another outlet for writing and reading different books.
Do you have a favorite Options teacher or staff member?
I would say Emily. Blaine and Sean are great also.
Have you improved in any areas since you first started attending Options?
Yes, I’m more social and this has also given me more learning opportunities, along with helping me find my career path.
What are your plans or aspirations for after you graduate?
I am currently attending J Everett Light (Career Center) for cosmetology. I have wanted to pursue that since about sixth grade, and I’m wanting to have my own hair salon.

When it’s warm and sunny outside I swing on the swing.
What is your favorite thing about attending Options with ABA?
Free time after school work.
What is your favorite subject in school?
Math because I’m good with numbers.

I have improved in math.
Do you have any current plans or aspirations for when you’re older, or after you graduate?
I would like to be a therapist.

Do you have any hobbies, passions or ways you enjoy spending your free time?
I dance at my church for special events.
What is your favorite thing about Options Indiana?
I love that every student can go at their own pace.
What is your favorite subject in school?
History, I love seeing how far the world has evolved.
Do you have a favorite teacher or staff member in Options Indiana?
No, I don’t have a favorite teacher.
Have you improved in any areas since enrolling at Options?
Yes, my grades and knowledge have increased.
Do you have any current plans or aspirations for after you graduate?
I have always wanted to be a lawyer and that what I’m going to be.
