When did you begin working with non-profit organizations?
I started my career in the public administration field 7 years ago. I’m passionate about creating meaningful change through education, policy advocacy, and community-focused initiatives. In my previous role as Associate for State Partnerships with the Markle Foundation, I worked with 30 state governors to advocate for inclusive hiring practices and policy recommendations that aimed to create more opportunities for disadvantaged American workers and adult learners. I began working in the field of education by offering consulting services to local nonprofits and education organizations, evaluating program effectiveness, and advising on state policy recommendations. My goal is to support organizations that are making a meaningful impact and driving lasting, sustainable change in their communities.
What do you enjoy most about being part of the Options team?
I’m most excited about creating meaningful programs that will empower students and support teachers.
What do you enjoy outside of Options?
In my free time, I enjoy making music with friends, spending time with my seven nieces and nephews, reading, and volunteering at the Wheeler Mission.
