What is Options with ABA?
→ In the summer of 2019, Options Schools wanted to continue expanding the reach of students served across the state of Indiana. The next step for Options Schools was a partnership with a center for autism, in order to provide students on the autism spectrum with the opportunity to receive a high-quality education in conjunction with applied behavioral analysis (ABA) therapy, in one location. Options with ABA launched in Sept. 2019 with Options @ BACA in Fishers, IN. After an extremely successful pilot year for Options with ABA in 2019-20, Options Schools found another opportunity to serve students on the autism spectrum with the creation of Options @ IBAA.’ Located in Kokomo, IN, ‘Options @ IBAA’ is set to launch Nov. 18, 2020.

→ Both Options with ABA programs are accredited by the Indiana Department of Education & provide blended education models for students in grades 6-12.

→ Students attending ‘Options @ BACA’ or ‘Options @ IBAA’ will participate in the educational program for three hours each day, either during the Morning or Afternoon session. Students do not need to be receiving BACA services in order to enroll in the ‘Options @ BACA’ educational program. The programs offer diploma, certificate and functional academic tracks based on the individual needs of each student. Options’ highly-qualified team is co-located within BACA Prep in Fishers & IBAA in Kokomo. Students attending Options with ABA receive an accredited education in a supportive environment.

What do you enjoy most about being part of the Options team?

– Since joining the Options team, I have been impressed with the overall sense of community. Team members are truly supported by the administration as well as each other. The positive work culture allows professionals to thrive in their areas of expertise. The low classroom ratios enable teachers to build individual relationships and trust with students which motivates learning. I love being part of an organization that offers students that may have not had success in a traditional school setting a place to Belong, Believe and Achieve.
