The Options in Education Foundation

Family at Graduation at Options Charter School

About

The Options Education Foundation is a 501©3 non-profit organization created in 2006 to sponsor and fund programs that assist the students and teachers of Options Charter Schools. Though Options is a free, public charter school, money raised through the foundation go towards college scholarships for our students in addition to funding materials and capital costs for the Options campuses.

Scholarships

The Options Education Foundation currently maintains three scholarships:

The Abby White Scholarship

In recognition of former Options student, Abby White, who passed away the summer before beginning school at IUPUI. This scholarship is given to a graduating senior that is pursuing post-secondary education and has been a leader among peers.

Senior Scholarship

The Senior Scholarship is awarded to a senior at each campus whom has demonstrated exceptional social responsibility.

The Bridging the Gaps Scholarship – Sponsored by IDI

Thanks to the generous support of our corporate sponsor IDI, this scholarship provides support to students attending Ivy Tech University or the J. Everett Light Center for vocational training

Collaborate

We are constantly looking for business partners to assist with internships or service learning projects for our students.

Tell the story

Options is a unique spot. Place for some students to finally feel at home during their high school years. Many students suffer because they don’t know that Options is available to them. Tell the story of Options, or one of our staff members would be happy to speak to your group or company.

For more information on how you can become involved with Options Charter Schools – please contact Danny Jimenez, Executive Director of Options in Education Foundation.
